Details:
...HEAT WAVE NEXT WEEK...
.High pressure will strengthen over the southwest states early
next week bringing an extended period of very hot weather except
at the immediate coast and at the highest elevations of the
mountains. The peak of the heat is expected on Tuesday and
Wednesday. Nights will be quite warm as well...especially near
the foothills of the mountains and in the deserts. Toward the end
of next week into next weekend...the high pressure may weaken
slightly and shift northward slightly. This would allow for some
cooling and some return of monsoonal moisture.
...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM MONDAY TO
8 PM PDT THURSDAY...
* Temperature...High temperatures during the peak of the heat on
Tuesday and Wednesday in the 90s in the western valleys and
100 to 106 in the inland valleys.
* Impacts...A prolonged period of very hot days combined with
very warm nights is expected to create a dangerous situation
in which heat illnesses are likely.

Information:
Young children and pets should never be left unattended in
vehicles under any circumstances. This is especially true during
warm or hot weather when car interiors can reach lethal
temperatures in a matter of minutes.
